The Bible says
The free gift following many trespasses brings justification. (Romans 5:16. RSV)
True forgiveness is free. Nowhere does the Bible suggest we should pay penance for it, or that our offerings to the church are a prerequisite for forgiveness, or that God's depth of forgiveness depends on how much we give the church.
Don't keep paying for something which God has offered for nothing!
